This musical slideshow is made up of pictures of three abducted IDF soldiers and the protests organized to pressure the government to bring them home, set to the backdrop of Ivri Lider’s “I Merited to Love.” Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser were captured by Hezbollah terrorists in July 2006, triggering the Second Lebanon War, and Gilad Shalit was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from Gaza in June 2006. Following massive public pressure and controversial prisoner swap deals, the dead bodies of Regev and Goldwasser were returned to Israel in 2008, and Shalit came home alive in 2011.
