Cycling Protest for the Release of Captured Soldiers

From June 2007, this video (01:41) covers a rally of thousands of Israeli citizens who biked in northern Israel in a protest demanding the release of three kidnapped Israeli soldiers. Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser were captured by Hezbollah terrorists in July 2006, triggering the Second Lebanon War, and Gilad Shalit was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from Gaza in June 2006. The video includes clips of family members of the soldiers thanking the public for their support and expressing their hope for the speedy return of the beloved men. Following massive public pressure and controversial prisoner swap deals, the dead bodies of Regev and Goldwasser were returned to Israel in 2008, and Shalit came home alive in 2011.
