Produced by KKL-JNF, this video (04:40) shows how JNF’s Australia’s contributions to innovative water solutions in the Negev Desert have supported the growth of agriculture, economy and community in Southern Israel, an area under constant threat of rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip. Although this video focuses on a water reclamation facility in the Shaar HaNegev Region, KKL-JNF contributes to many different projects that increase water availability in the desert, including harvesting floodwaters for irrigation, building reservoirs and drainage systems, and developing wetlands and lakes.
