The barrier – 95% fence and 5% wall – successfully decreased the amount of terror attacks in Israel by approximately 90%. Nevertheless, referred to by some as a separation fence or an apartheid wall, this controversial project is not ideal for anyone, and Israelis and Palestinians on both sides long for a time of true peace where there is no need for a barrier.
