The Six Day War Project #11-12: The Aftermath of the War & the Peace Process

This post presents the last two videos in the Six Day War Project, a mini-series of twelve short videos about the dramatic events and impact of the Six Day War, produced by Jerusalem U to mark fifty years since the war. Entitled “The Day After the War,” video #11 (03:35) summarizes the strategic and religious significance of the victory, as well as the complexity of controlling hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, Israel’s attempts to achieve peace with its defeated enemies, and their refusal to negotiate. The final video (06:38) explores how the results of the Six Day War have played out over the last fifty years and continue to affect the peace process and the lives of Israelis and Palestinians today. Jerusalem U is a media organization that creates purpose-driven content about Judaism and Israel for young Jews.
