This 4-minute long video presents a reenactment of the first-fruit and twin loaves offerings, as they were performed in the ancient Temple in Jerusalem on the festival of Shavuot. Due to the lack of commandments associated with this holiday, many customs observed today do not have Biblical origins. This video can be used to help people understand the Biblical commandments of this holiday, the bringing of specific offerings to the Temple. It was created as an educational resource by the Temple Institute, an organization working towards the building of the third Temple in Jerusalem.
