Alexandra Auer: The Intangible Effects of Walls

In this presentation from TEXxEinhoven (13:13), Alexandra Auer, a designer and educator, discusses the psychological consequences of building walls between countries and societies. From the Berlin Wall to a fence separating between Belgian and immigrant children in an elementary school playground in Brussels, she describes the link between physical and mental walls that can take generations to tear down, as well as creative  projects she has undertaken in order to expose the impact of these walls on both sides.
