For those who do not understand Hebrew, this article describes the content of the controversial advertisement, which reveals the prejudices and discrimination against Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews. A religious, Ashkenazi family’s pleasant Chanukah celebrations are destroyed when the Mizrahi neighbors burst in. They are depicted as barbaric, uneducated, ignorant, and secular, with exaggerated accents and North African costumes.
