The Wadi al-Haramiya Sniper Attack

Posted by Palestinian Media Watch, this video (1:15) that was shared on the official Facebook page of the Fatah movement in 2018 and 2019 glorifies the Wadi al-Haramiya sniper attack as “one of the most famous operations carried out by the Palestinian resistance in the Second Intifada.” On March 3, 2002, 22-year-old Tha’ir Kayid Hamad killed seven Israeli soldiers and three civilians before escaping. He was arrested two years later and sentenced to life imprisonment.
